Leadership for clinical service improvement

The national programme on Leadership for Clinical Service Improvement 2009/10 is a new programme supporting the delivery of real improvement, designed for senior leaders of complex change in and across clinical services.

This one year programme commencing in March 2009 is aimed at enabling frontline clinicians and clinical service managers from the public and independent sectors to learn the skills needed to lead change and deliver quality improvement of clinical services within their local context, across all areas of the care delivery system. Competent leadership amongst those managing such services has become even more important with the enhanced focus on effective commissioning. The University of Teesside will provide optional academic accreditation for this programme.
