Who are ‘frontline’ staff?
Frontline staff are professionals (e.g. consultants, General Practitioners, nurses, teachers, police officers) who work directly with patients or the public. It is this closeness to the users of public services that makes frontline staff ideally placed to see how and where improvements to services could be made - and to see the impact of any improvement.
