I was not aware of the Improvement Foundation before, when was it set up?

The Improvement Foundation was originally established in 2000 as the National Primary Care Development Team to spread innovation and best practice within primary care. The Improvement Foundation was formed in April 2006 and runs a number of improvement programmes, including the biggest healthcare improvement programme in the UK.
