Training Residential Home Staff to Deliver Exercise – Blackburn With Darwen
The team identified a suitable course – the Chair Based Exercise Leaders Course, liaised with the care home to identify candidates and organised professional support for them from the local authority. Four care home staff completed the course and the team identified the need to awareness raise about importance of exercise within care homes as a result of their work.
