Reviewing Patient Medication – Gateshead
The consultant geriatrician, who is a member of the Gateshead team, performed medication reviews on residents of a residential care home. She did this as part of a whole range of interventions that were presented during community team meetings. She regularly attended coffee mornings and lunch clubs, reviewing medications and writing advice for GPs on the correct medication for older people who fall.
