Home Safety Checks – Northampton
The scheme operates by providing a handy person service to carry out home safety checks and work free of charge.
Examples of the work are: securing stair carpets, fitting telephone extension cables, replacing light bulbs and moving furniture to clear walkways.
In addition, young people have been recruited to help maintain gardens.
