The Goldthorpe team identified that a local pensioners’ festival would be a good opportunity to test the awareness of people attending. There was strong interest in and uptake of the risk assessment on offer and blood pressure testing.  People were keen to get more information to give to their family and friends. Some people were identified as high risk and their GPs made aware.
